Strap options

Since all the straps/belts/wallets and all the other leather and canvas products I make are CUSTOM MADE but first and foremost - HAND MADE. 

 

This means you get to choose what you want. Even if you have your own idea or need for a special product, I can make it happen. Make sure to see this SIZING GUIDE . If not otherwise specified to me in our correspondence, all straps are by default made in total length of 200 mm side to side (120 x 80 mm per side, ideal for 7"-7,5"wrist) and stitched in ECRU color (off white / light khaki tan) and with a basic buckle. 

If your wrist is bigger or smaller than that, please do not forget to mention it. 

As of 2021a, first hole of the strap is 55mm from the lug edge of the strap for standard 120 X 80mm and padded straps. On longer straps (130mm), first hole is 60mm from the lug end. Please keep that in mind if you need different spacing. 

PADDED STRAPS:

If you are ordering a padded strap, you can choose if you want hard padding or soft padding. Soft padding is easier and more comfortable to to wear from the start, stiffer padding is meant to make strap more rugged and longer lasting over time, especially if waterproof canvas was ordered (Paratrooper strap).  If it's not otherwise specified, we will make the strap with padding that suits it the best at the moment.

Ordering and shipping options

 

All shipments are by default sent TRACKED INTERNATIONAL PARCEL by German Post (Airmail) and the base cost is 15€ (shipping costs are separate from all discounts); insurance costs extra 2€ for every 100€ value. 

 All packages are shipped in 20 mm thick boxes with custom printed address tags with the address you provide upon order so make sure to let me know your address in the e.mail you are sending me. Delays occur mostly because there was no valid shipping address in the e.mail correspondence. Please note that shipping is a constant value, it is not included in discounts. (discount + shipping after). 

 


DELIVERIES

 

All shipments leave Germany in 1-2 working days after they were sent out from my local post office. After that time, it is all up to your customs (where you might be charged with import duties of your own country)  and postal service. After we send the package, we can provide the shipping number upon request and the package can be tracked here (almost all the shipments can be tracked via this page if your postal office offers tracking option for your country). 

Delivery time upon shipping varies between 3 days to 2+ weeks depending only on the destination country customs service. Currently, due to Covid crisis, shipping to Australia might take 2 months since shipments are rerouted to waterways instead of airmail. To cut this time, the only viable option is Express shipping at surcharge (50€).

 

FASTER SHIPPING

Faster option can be arranged at a surcharge (but in my opinion, not needed and the shipping via this option often matches and exceeds the order fee itself) via DHL, UPS and FedEx. This is the link to DHL pricing list (the only international tracked option is package up to 5 KG that is also insured).  If you want to be sure, the package can also be insured up to the preferred amount (surcharge). 

 

 

GENERAL TERMS 

 

Delivery is upon payment; if you by any reason decide to cancel the order it can be done within 24 hours after the initial payment. Cancellation after that is not accepted, due to the bad experience with few not-so-serious inquiries in the past without this rule. After that period I offer no refunds - but your payment can and will be credited toward new future order (in case something changes, I. E. You have a new watch or you have sold the old one).  I am accepting your order and we are working together if this is clear and if you accept this. So basically changes are welcome at any time as long as the item is not already made the way it was firstly discussed (and if change is possible by itself -- being color, shape, size, engraving if the item etc).

Straps are delivered with regular buckles supplied by 3rd party. However, we advise you to use OEM buckles that came with your watch. 

If you want to use your own buckles, you need to let us know what the prong width is. It is also advisable to check strap and buckle pins before mounting them on the watch and if you feel more safe, change pins altogether for brand or thickness you feel comfortable with. We are not liable for pin failure on the strap. So souble check your fitting after coupling your watch with the strap. 

 

 

IMPORTANT

 

Please note, this is a completely handcrafted product, everything is strictly hand made by a single person (me) which takes time -- but only that way I can guarantee a complete customer's satisfaction. Turnaround time for straps is anywhere between few days to 10 weeks and sometimes even a bit more and it is based on the ready-made availability, material availability, waiting list, custom job complication etc. But like in every case; just contact me -- communication is key to all deals. 

 

 

WARRANTY

 

I offer limited warranty / guarantee on my work and if you are the original buyer of the strap, if a structural failure occurs, all you have to do is ship the strap back to me and you will get a new one (shipping charges are on the customer). Buckles and hardware are not covered with this.

* Discounts include LEATHER or CANVAS only, buckle price and shipping price are excluded from the discount mode. Shipping and buckle prices always remain the same because they are not under my conditions and are not made by me. All the straps must be ordered and paid for at the same time and discounts cannot be used for the orders already paid before -- these cannot be combined with the new orders. Items on the sale can be combined only with other items on sale in order to receive the discount, otherwise the discounted price remains as-is. Discounts are as they are at the maximum amount specified and can be changed by me at any time for no reason specified. I reserve right to decline order if that what you want is illegal and not permitted; use of legally forbidden symbols or generally offending symbols is something we do not do.
